Despite the title ‘Concerto’, this piece is actually a sinfonia, typical for its time. It is composed by Vivaldi, who uses it as sinfonia in Teuzzone, RV 736 (1718) and as second sinfonia in Arsilda, regina di Ponto, RV 700 (1716). Manuscript on Dutch paper. It contains an oboe part, which is not included in the corresponding manuscripts of Turin and Dresden.
Thanks, Mr. Chandler!
I sent you an email, Sigurd, but it bounced. In answer to your question, he also uses it in Arsilda, Regina di Ponto. Very interesting!
