About me

I am one of few professional violinists in Norway who specialise in  historical performance practices. Although I frequently appear as soloist and chamber musician on the baroque violin, I have been employed as a modern violinist in the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra for a number of years, and I have an extensive  experience with classical music of all ages. My primary concern as a solo performer is the possibilities within the performance of historical music, and my ambition is to be a versatile violinist.

As a research fellow through the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme, I have studied and applied techniques to perform the music of Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770).
